Games: Albion Online 'Land Awakened' Update Coming Nov. 24

 


Albion Online is tantalizing players with news of a major "Lands Awakened" update coming on Nov. 24 that will reportedly bring a "massive rework of the open world, a new weapon line, reworked guild seasons, numerous quality-of-life improvements, and much more" to the popular video game. 

The makers of the cross-platform medieval game promise that the new update will bring "a new era of open-world gameplay to Albion."

New features include:

  • static dungeons with limited-time events and multi-zone exits,
  • mobs that increase in power and value over time
  • new open-world PvP objectives for groups of all sizes
  • massively improved visuals and layouts for all five biomes
  • dynamically spawning treasure sites
  • the new War Gloves weapon line, Albion's first completely new weapon line since launch
  • fully reworked Guild Seasons
  • Elite Levels offer advanced mastery options
  • an expanded soundtrack
  • overall speed of Fame progress has been boosted significantly
  • numerous quality-of-life improvements
  • much more.
Albion appeals to players of Minecraft, WOW, RuneScape and other games that involve building, farming, mobs, PvE and PvP. Doll collectors who enjoy medieval and fantasy dolls should find this game enjoyable, because it offers so many forms of gameplay and visuals.

Albion Online recently featured creative Hallowed Ground dungeons with Halloween decorations, dance breaks and special prizes for players which will remain on the site through Nov. 10. 

The new update will bring more special features including re-imagined faction warfare as well as Quality of Life Improvements such as:
  • Player-created Loadouts can now be purchased directly from the Marketplace
  • Farming optimizations let players tend crops and animals with fewer clicks. 
  • Rerolling items is newly streamlined, crafting and refining fees are clearer, 
  • Party commands offer faster and easier party management.
