They aren't exactly dolls but I am going to lump them in with the plush dolls, because these Harry Potter squishmallows at Michael’s are just too cute… and they are ON SALE! Regularly $14.99, these Harry Potter squishmallows are now just $8.99 at Michael’s! Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley and Harry’s owl  Hedwig  have never looked so cute… or been so huggable. The set of 4 plush Harry Potter characters is available for $8.99 while supplies last.

Annie by Kiddiefun a Cute Irish Lass

Image
For St. Patrick’s Day and Irish Heritage Month, here is Annie from Kiddiefun.  I found Annie, the Irish Babe, in a thrift store and had never heard of her before. However, the luck of the Irish kept her tag attached, so I found enough facts to do a little research   Annie is a soft cloth doll made by Kiddiefun in 2004. Kiddiefun produced a variety of Irish souvenirs, especially a brand of  plush toys, specifically sheep and bears, often associated with St. Patrick's Day and Irish themes, that were made in Dublin, Ireland. Kiddiefun closed its doors in 2019.  Annie has a plush body with medium orange “red” hair pulled back into two ponytails, an embroidered face with green eyes and a wide smile. She wears a kelly green crop top, cut modestly long with a shamrock and “Irish Babe” embroidered on the front. Her kelly green and white skirt is a shamrock print. She wears green and white leggings and bright red tennis shoes.  Research shows the Kiddiefun dolls and toys...

Glitter Baddiez Plush Dolls $9.99 at Walgreens

Glitter Baddiez Plush Dolls The newest plush fashion dolls out are the Glitter Baddiez. Made in China, the dolls are $9.99 at Walgreens and come in six different looks.  "Express yourself with one-of-a-kind plush dolls that looks just like you!” says the back of the box. And six hair colors and outfits do provide a little variety. The art on the back of the box for the dolls is very cute. The dolls are cute, too, but not as cute as the graphics. Still, if your  Mariah Carey  plush doll needs some company, these dolls would make good companions.  For $9.99, the Glitter Baddiez are a decent deal.  Related Articles: Mariah Carey Plush Doll Is All I Want For Christmas Plush Mermaid Dolls Showing Up Everywhere! The first time I saw them was these generic brand mermaids at a Publix in Nashville in November.  Then I ran across these Aurora mermaids at the Ozarkland chain in Missouri in December.  They were next to the adorable plush Disney princess dolls made by Ty. Look for these cuties next time you are out shopping! Related Articles: An ocean full of mermaids: Barbie, Skipper, Ariel 'The Little Mermaid,' and mermaid clones dolls

The cloth fashion dolls were released Ty Inc, maker of Beanie Babies. Like the Beanie Babies, the Ty Girls were soft plush, fabric dolls with embroidered faces, similar to a rag doll but with trendy, sometimes provocative clothes.  The first six Ty cloth dolls released in April 2007, were14-inches tall with mildly odd  but very striking  faces. Dolls after that were a bit shorter, were issued with wires so the Girlz could hold poses, and came with sweeter, softer, rounder faces that looked younger. Lot of Ty Girlz who have had some of their clothes scavenged Ty Girlz Threadz The dolls targeted tweens and teens and sported short skirts and cropped " belly-button"  tops . Their outfits could be mixe...
