A Jackie Evancho (Doll) Thanksgiving


🌽  The Jackie Evancho doll had a Happy Thanksgiving and hopes you did, too! 🌽 

 The Jackie Evancho doll liked her festive Halloween ensemble so much that she altered it slightly and wore it again for Thanksgiving. 

With pumpkins and fall bounty, Jackie is remembering the Pilgrims and their courage in crossing the ocean to come to a New World where they could worship God and raise their families without government persecution. She thinks back on the early Plymouth Colony, and the brave people that lost half their number that first hard year, but then the next year, gave thanks to God for a bountiful harvest. 

Jackie Evancho (doll) is thankful this Thanksgiving, and we should be, too. Happy Thanksgiving!

Fashion Dolls 101 Woman of the Year Award 2025

M any magazines and organizations award women their prestigious Woman of the Year Awards , usually in the spring, to honor females who have broken glass ceilings and contributed significantly to their respective industries, regions, etc.  But a recent trend has been to name MEN as “Woman of the Year,” as long as they wear a dress and call themselves a women.  Males Winning Woman of the Year In 2014, Time awarded their “Woman of the Year” award to Roderick “Laverne” Cox. Glamour Magazine also manawarded their 2014 “Woman of the Year” honors to Cox. The President Who Is Immortalized in Pop Culture as a Doll

  To commemorate the inauguration of President Donald Trump, this is an appropriate time to look at the fun figures inspired by the man himself. While some would disagree, many would say the man himself is a living doll.  There’s no denying he has inspired several dolls and figures   First is the Donald J. Trump 12” talking doll (center) which was released in 2004 while he was the star of the tv show, “The Apprentice.” This doll is a relatively life-like depiction of how Donald Trump looked while on the reality series and it says 17 phrases in his voice that were made popular on the show.  It is dressed in his typical navy blue suit with red tie   Next is the Trump troll doll (left) which was issued fairly recently, probably in 2023 or 2024.
