The third collection of the Barbie Basics line of dolls for collectors 14 and older was released in Target Stores in 2010. What are Barbie Basics? They are 12 Barbie dolls with a new take on the little black dress and accessories. Collection Red from the popular Barbie series is a Target store exclusive which features 3 dolls wearing basic red dresses.

One the left is Model 1, the Mackie-faced bleach blond from the first collection. In the middle is the vintage Steffie face of Model 3 with long brunette hair. On the right is Model 2, the Lara-faced doll as an African American with curly hair this time around.
