I am getting ready to add doll clothes/accessories/repaint reviews to my Fashion Dolls 101 blog which I am in the process of revamping (and hope to move to WordPress soon). The clothes, etc. will be reviewed on this blog, promoted on several social media platforms and linked to here on Doll Collecting Examiner. Whatever contact info you want to include, whether your ebay, Etsy account or personal info will  be included as well as two links to whatever sites you use to sell or promote. In addition, links to previous reviews will be included under current reviews so the older articles will continue to get read. Wearing her tailored A-line navy blue georgette dress with white soutache braid trim, the Gene doll was ready for an afternoon tea at New York's famous Plaza Hotel. Pink Careless Kisses Madra ensemble a Nashville exclusive - Nashville Doll Collecting Examiner Golden Age of Doll Couture in Nashville When the Golden Age of Doll Couture convention came to Nashville recently, a few dolls were designed just for the Nashville show. One of the prettiest was not even a new design, but was a special dye job just for the event. In honor of the Madra doll's 10th anniversary , the Doll Couture convention even had a few of the very limited edition Careless Kisses Madra outfits (sometimes called "Stolen Kisses") dyed a soft pink just for their table displays.

How to Make Gene, Tyler and other 16" dolls a Hawaiian grass skirt & lei - Nashville doll collecting | Examiner What is Raffia? I was recently in a party story at Nashville West on Charlotte Pike and found a delicate raffia trim in a perfect scale to make Gene , Tyler and similar 16" sized dolls a Hawaiian or Polynesian grass skirt. Raffia palms are native to tropical regions of Africa, and Central and South America and grow the longest leaves in the plant kingdom. The long, fibrous leaves are sturdy and flexible and great for grass skirts if you can find it in the right scale.
