The Mariah Carey plush doll was a cute addition to my Christmas list. Posing like Santa’s spunky little elf, Mariah wears an adorable Santa dress, Santa hat, red booties with white trim and diminutive red metallic Christmas ball earrings.  Sporting her shock of signature strawberry blonde locks and glam makeup, the Mariah Carey plush doll will be all you want for Christmas… or New Year’s Day! While doll companies frequently make dolls of former Presidents, such as GI Joe's Dwight D. Eisenhower and the Franklin Mint's John F. Kennedy figures, it is unique in the world of doll collecting that a doll character became president after the fact. Such is the case with the Stevenson Entertainment Group's Donald J. Trump Talking Doll. The closest competition would be Arnold  Schwarzenegger who was exploring a run for president in 2013 and who has action figures in his likeness.  However, the Donald J. Trump Talking Doll is historic. On this Election Eve 2020, I thought it would be fun to take a look at this iconic doll.  The Donald Trump dolls was made in 2004 during the time period when Trump was starring on the popular reality show, "The Apprentice."  The show has run in various formats across fifteen seasons since January 2004 on  NBC , most recently in 2017, but was most popular during the 14 seasons Trump hosted it. Spin Master's discontinued Liv dolls and their Victorious dolls shared a similar body, but they were not identical. This article compares the similarities and differences between the two dolls' body styles.  The Victorious dolls by Spin Master were released at the end of 2011 featuring cast members Jade, Cat and Trina. The doll bodies are copyright 2010 and made in China. The Victorious doll bodies share some similarities to the Liv doll bodies which are copyright 2009 by Spin Master and also made in China. Body swapping Liv and Jackie Evancho dolls I am a big fan of both Liv dolls and Moxie Teenz dolls, so I am now making hybrid "Moxie Liv" dolls. Here's the scoop! Recently, as I reported in " Jackie Evancho: the little doll with the big voice, " the 14" fashion dolls went on clearance at Toys R Us. These dolls look a lot like the Moxie Teenz dolls in the body. In fact, the Evancho dolls and the Moxie Teenz dolls can exchange clothes , accessories, even shoes. However, the cute, smiling face of little Jackie Evancho just does not display well with the more sophisticated Moxie Teenz dolls. In the face, the Liv doll s are similar to the Mozie Teenz dolls . The heads are close enough in size to where the Liv World dolls and the Moxie Teenz dolls can exchange wigs. The Liv dolls also feature inset glass eyes like the Moxie Teenz.   Jackie Evancho: the little doll with the big voice The Jackie Evancho Collectors Edition doll also known as "Jackie Evancho--When You Wish Upon a Star" was released in 2011 from JE Touring, Inc. under license from Bravado Merchandising. The doll has button on her stomach that plays a couple of lines of Jackie singing the "When You Wish Upon a Star" song.
