Belle Meade Plantation Belles Barbie Doll Club to celebrate 15 years The Belle Meade Plantation Belles Barbie Doll Club was founded in September 1997. This month the club celebrates its 15th anniversary with a special meeting on Thursday, September 6 at 7 p.m. at Shoneys in Bellevue. Members received special club dolls for 2012 at their January meeting , but more goodies will be on hand at the September meeting. Plantation Belles Doll Club celebrates New Year with club dolls, special program The Belle Meade Plantation Belles Doll Club in Nashville presented their 2012 club dolls to club members in a special ceremony on Thursday night, Jan. 5. When members arrived at the party room at Shoney's in Bellevue, three tables were full of the club dolls in their sparkling gowns. The unique club dolls were dressed in elegant special-order full-length white silk gowns trimmed in silver sequins to celebrate the New Year. Plantation Belles Barbie Doll Club holds Halloween party in West Nashville The Belle Meade Plantation Belles Doll Club members were spooktacular at an Oct. 22 Halloween Party on Fleetwood Drive in West Nashville. Members came dressed in costumes ranging from kitty cats, to witches, to Ren Fests and literature and enjoyed a party under a covered gazebo on the rambling, multi-level hillside deck that covers most of the back yard. Belle Meade Plantation Belles Doll Club plans fall meetings in Nashville The Belle Meade Plantation Belles Doll Club met on August 4 at 7 PM at Shoneys in Bellevue/Nashville. While most meetings involve a program or crafts, the August meeting was a dinner meeting just to socialize. Members were especially glad that Lorena Anderson, one of the club's original members, was able to attend.

Belle Meade Plantation Belles Doll Club meets April 6 at Shoney’s Bellevue The Belle Meade Plantation Belles Doll Club is holding their April meeting on Thursday night, April 6, at 7:00 PM at Shoney's in Bellevue. The theme of the meeting will be Easter dolls. In addition, a workshop is planned on making doll-sized shopping bags as well as items to go in the bags.
