Barbie “You Can Be Anything” Minis Celebrate the Season in Cobblestone

 The tiny Barbie “You Can Be Anything” minis found some new friends in the small town of Cobblestone, a miniature Christmas village from Dollar Tree. In Cobblestone they met many other tiny figures almost exactly their size, as well as decorations, trees, lampposts, and other Christmasy touches.


Santa Claus arrived while everyone was caroling and hopped on the chimney to the General Store, a find from a long-ago trip. 


My favorite figures are the two little choir carolers. I was in a children’s choir that wore robes like that when I was little, and I also had two candle figures, larger than the Cobblestone carolers, but that looked almost exactly like these two little singers behind Santa.   


Nostalgia merged with modern. Cobblestone allows the Barbie minis to enjoy the holidays from a completely different perspective.

Happy 55th birthday, Barbie! I knew you when you were just a teenage fashion model and I was a nine-year-old girl. That's when I got my first Barbie doll, and I was so excited! Fashion Dolls 101 Woman of the Year Award 2025

M any magazines and organizations award women their prestigious Woman of the Year Awards , usually in the spring, to honor females who have broken glass ceilings and contributed significantly to their respective industries, regions, etc.  But a recent trend has been to name MEN as “Woman of the Year,” as long as they wear a dress and call themselves a women.  Males Winning Woman of the Year In 2014, Time awarded their “Woman of the Year” award to Roderick “Laverne” Cox. Glamour Magazine also manawarded their 2014 “Woman of the Year” honors to Cox. The President Who Is Immortalized in Pop Culture as a Doll

  To commemorate the inauguration of President Donald Trump, this is an appropriate time to look at the fun figures inspired by the man himself. While some would disagree, many would say the man himself is a living doll.  There’s no denying he has inspired several dolls and figures   First is the Donald J. Trump 12” talking doll (center) which was released in 2004 while he was the star of the tv show, “The Apprentice.” This doll is a relatively life-like depiction of how Donald Trump looked while on the reality series and it says 17 phrases in his voice that were made popular on the show.  It is dressed in his typical navy blue suit with red tie   Next is the Trump troll doll (left) which was issued fairly recently, probably in 2023 or 2024.
