Patriotic Parade of Gnomes at Michael’s, Dollar Tree

With Flag Day, 4th of July and summer on the horizon, Michael’s and Dollar Tree have a parade of patriotic gnomes for shoppers to enjoy!








At Michael’s these two 12” patriotic gnomes are sporting top hats: one with a blue hat with white stars, and one with a red and white striped hat with a blue band with white stars on it. The gnome with the blue hat has a red outfit and holds an American flag while the other gnome wears a blue outfit and holds a tinsel sparkler. They sell for $19.99.


Dollar Tree also has a red, white and blue top-hat wearing patriotic gnome, as well as one wearing a red pointy wizard cap spangled with white and blue stars for $1.25 each. 

The Michael’s gnomes are a little plusher, but the Dollar Tree gnomes are certainly a bargain. Either way, you can’t go wrong!

Fashion Dolls 101 Woman of the Year Award 2025

M any magazines and organizations award women their prestigious Woman of the Year Awards , usually in the spring, to honor females who have broken glass ceilings and contributed significantly to their respective industries, regions, etc.  But a recent trend has been to name MEN as “Woman of the Year,” as long as they wear a dress and call themselves a women.  Males Winning Woman of the Year In 2014, Time awarded their “Woman of the Year” award to Roderick “Laverne” Cox. Glamour Magazine also manawarded their 2014 “Woman of the Year” honors to Cox. The President Who Is Immortalized in Pop Culture as a Doll

  To commemorate the inauguration of President Donald Trump, this is an appropriate time to look at the fun figures inspired by the man himself. While some would disagree, many would say the man himself is a living doll.  There’s no denying he has inspired several dolls and figures   First is the Donald J. Trump 12” talking doll (center) which was released in 2004 while he was the star of the tv show, “The Apprentice.” This doll is a relatively life-like depiction of how Donald Trump looked while on the reality series and it says 17 phrases in his voice that were made popular on the show.  It is dressed in his typical navy blue suit with red tie   Next is the Trump troll doll (left) which was issued fairly recently, probably in 2023 or 2024.
