Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree with Nancy Ann Storybook Dolls

The petite little 6" Nancy Ann Story Book Dolls were made from 1936 to 1971 by the Nancy Ann Story Book Doll Company. The doll company was founded by Nancy Ann Abbott in San Francisco, California in 1936.

Originally bisque dolls, the dolls were later made of hard plastic. The clothes were well made of excellent fabrics: lace, satin, velvet and cotton. The natural material used for the hair often did not stand up well to moths if the dolls were played with much.

The blonde doll in the purple and green dress is "Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice" (158). I don't know about the others. If you can ID any of them, please leave a comment.

The dolls are sometimes listed with the abbreviation NASB for  Nancy Ann Story Book Doll Company
