El Dia de los Muertos dolls & figures - Nashville Doll Collecting Examiner

The 13th annual El Dia de los Muertos fiesta was held Sat., Oct. 27 at Cheekwood Botanical Gardens. The Nashville fall festival celebrates the colorful Los Dias de los Muertos (the Days of the Dead) festivals of Mexico and Latin America. The Dia de los Muertos holiday is one of the most important celebrations in Latin America because it shows the Latin culture’s strong love of life and respect for departed ancestors, combining old pagan customs with Catholic traditions.
