On April 2, 2011, well-known doll artist and designer Joan Greene will present a Gallery Showing of Rare Prototype Dolls at the historic Hardaway House in Nashville, Tennessee

 during the first-ever Nashville Fashion Week. Greene has had a long and illustrious career in the fashion doll collecting world. As reported in Interview with Joan Greene, Developer of Ashton Drake's Princess Diana Doll Line, Joan Greene was the developer of Ashton-Drake's (AD) Gene Marshall line of dolls before being asked to take on the Princess Diana doll line for AD.

Barbie Scores Cover of People Yearbook for 2023

 ~ Many media outlets have been doing their year-in-review articles to mark the turnover of another year, and People Magazine is no exception ~ Barbie on Cover of People Yearbook “Barbie” star Margot Robbie joined singer Beyoncé and Taylor Swift on the cover of People Magazine’s 2023 Yearbook featuring top moments from the past year. Since “Barbie also sings in the film, that’s three female singer on the cover of People for those who are counting.  The magazine took a look at “The Plastic Fantastic World of Barbie” as one of the big stories of 2023.  Greta Gerwig's  “Barbie” movie starring  Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling  was a huge hit in 2023 in spite of mixed reviews. Christmas Figures Landing in Michael’s Stores

The holidays have landed at Michael’s stores! Employees have been busy decking the aisles with holiday goodies since the last week of September. Finally, some of the holiday figures are on display!
