St. Patrick’s Day with the Barbie Micro-Minis

Faith and begorrah! It’s St. Patrick’s Day!☘️ 

For fun, I bought two of the little micro mini Barbies and painted their dresses because it is super hard to make clothes and dress them although I have had some success. But for Valentine’s Day and Saint Patrick’s day, I painted the ponytail Barbie’s dress red for Valentine’s Day and green for St. Paddy’s Day. Here are the results. I do plan to finish out the strap on the dress so the white no longer peeks through  

I made yarn shawls for both girls and gave my St. Patty’s Girl a ribbon bow. The dolls and the door came from Dollar Tree.

Fashion Dolls 101 Woman of the Year Award 2025

M any magazines and organizations award women their prestigious Woman of the Year Awards , usually in the spring, to honor females who have broken glass ceilings and contributed significantly to their respective industries, regions, etc.  But a recent trend has been to name MEN as “Woman of the Year,” as long as they wear a dress and call themselves a women.  Males Winning Woman of the Year In 2014, Time awarded their “Woman of the Year” award to Roderick “Laverne” Cox. Glamour Magazine also manawarded their 2014 “Woman of the Year” honors to Cox. The President Who Is Immortalized in Pop Culture as a Doll

  To commemorate the inauguration of President Donald Trump, this is an appropriate time to look at the fun figures inspired by the man himself. While some would disagree, many would say the man himself is a living doll.  There’s no denying he has inspired several dolls and figures   First is the Donald J. Trump 12” talking doll (center) which was released in 2004 while he was the star of the tv show, “The Apprentice.” This doll is a relatively life-like depiction of how Donald Trump looked while on the reality series and it says 17 phrases in his voice that were made popular on the show.  It is dressed in his typical navy blue suit with red tie   Next is the Trump troll doll (left) which was issued fairly recently, probably in 2023 or 2024.
