I had a lovely dinner with Sandra Stillwell tonight in Nashville, and she filled me in on plans for the upcoming doll couture event in Nashville. Belle Meade Plantation Belles Doll Club The Belle Meade Plantation Belles Doll Club was formed by three women in September of 1997 at the old Shoney's in Belle Meade. Two of the women, Donna from West  Nashville  and Kathryn from Bellevue, had met at a doll show earlier that year and placed a classified ad in the local paper announcing the first meeting in September. Lorena from Pegram joined them at the first official meeting and the club has met every month since then. Plantation Belle  Barbie  Outfit The club was named after the location where the club was founded and the Plantation Belle Barbie outfit, one of the original Barbie doll fashions from 1959, which is pictured in the club logo above.
